The Tuzla Trail continues to expand its offerings, with plans for future events and initiatives aimed at promoting trail running and environmental awareness. Our commitment to community engagement and sustainable practices ensures that Tuzla remains a hub for trail running enthusiasts.

1. “Klupa” A Family-Friendly Route

One of the club’s standout initiatives is the development of the “Klupa” trail—a 13 km route with a 600-meter elevation gain, designed to be accessible for families and recreational runners. Supported by the Tuzla Community Foundation and USAID, this project aims to provide a natural escape for residents, especially during winter months when urban air quality declines. The trail is equipped with downloadable GPS tracks, elevation profiles, and clear signage, making it user-friendly for all levels of runners.

2. “Trails Are My Playground” – Engaging the Youth

This initiative focuses on introducing children and young adults to trail running through interactive and fun activities. The program aims to instill a love for nature and physical activity from an early age, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the trail running community in Tuzla.

3. “Mark the Trail & Save the Forest” – Environmental Stewardship

In collaboration with local communities, the club has undertaken projects to mark and maintain trails, ensuring they are safe and accessible. These efforts also include environmental conservation activities, emphasizing the importance of preserving the natural landscapes that make trail running possible.

4. “Tuzla Outdoors” – Digital Platform for Outdoor Activities Promotion

Developed by UG Tuzla Trail, Tuzla Outdoors is a digital platform dedicated to promoting outdoor activities and natural values in the Tuzla area. The platform brings together information about trails, viewpoints, recreational locations, and other outdoor opportunities, making them more accessible to local communities and visitors. Through continuous development, Tuzla Outdoors aims to create a digital foundation for exploring, promoting, and enjoying outdoor activities while encouraging active lifestyles and responsible engagement with nature.
